The daughter who built herself and was handed to someone who could not see what she had built. The wife who disappeared inside her marriage and called it sacrifice. The generation that was told to be grateful and never asked if it was happy. The silence that is not peace — it is the weight of swallowed words.
I write in Urdu because some truths only exist in that language. I write in English because some conversations need to cross borders.
My readers are young Pakistanis — especially women — who are tired of being told how to feel and ready to name what they actually feel.
