There is a kind of silence that is not peace.
It is the silence of people who have things to say but do not believe their words deserve space. I grew up around that silence. In Multan. In classrooms. In rooms full of people who had swallowed their thoughts so many times they forgot they ever had them.
I started writing because I could not afford that silence anymore.
This site is where I put the words down. In Urdu. In English. About the things we feel but rarely say out loud โ€” self-worth, social pressure, the quiet work of becoming someone.
If you are reading this, you probably have things to say too.
This is a good place to start.
